Lighting installation, repairs & power
Better light. Power where you need it.
Discuss your projectGood lighting and well-planned power make a space work better. We install and alter lighting and power circuits for industrial, commercial and domestic settings, starting with how the space is actually used.
Experience that makes a difference
We consider access, working patterns and the existing installation before recommending a solution. Where energy savings are relevant, we discuss the assumptions rather than offering a blanket savings promise.
From a replacement light to a better working space
We install and repair lighting in homes, shops, offices and industrial premises. That can mean replacing a light fitting, investigating flickering or failed lights, adding lighting points, or planning a wider LED upgrade around the way a space is used.
For LED and dimmer changes, the fitting, lamp, driver and control need to work together. We discuss the result you want, including brightness, switching and the existing installation, before recommending a replacement or alteration.
Switches, sockets and equipment supplies
An extra socket in the right place can make a room easier to use. We can replace switches and sockets, add outlets where the existing circuit is suitable, and assess dedicated circuits for equipment that needs its own supply.
Tell us what will be connected and where it needs to go. For a refurbishment or fit-out, a layout helps us coordinate positions, cable routes and the order of work before finishes are completed.
Before we get started
Your questions,
answered.
Can you repair lights as well as install new ones?
Yes. We can investigate lighting faults and establish whether the issue lies with the fitting, control, connection or circuit. The appropriate repair follows the findings.
Do you fit customer-supplied lights and switches?
We can discuss that. Send the product details before booking so suitability, compatibility and any installation requirements can be checked. Let us know if the fitting needs a dimmer or a particular driver.
Can you add sockets without rewiring the whole property?
Often an addition can be made to a suitable existing circuit, but its condition, capacity and protection need checking first. We explain whether a circuit alteration or a new supply is appropriate for the equipment you want to use.
